5- Axis B+C axis

Hey guys,

Looking into a big plan to build up a taller Z axis and ended up designing a complete new gantry and rotating spindle for the HSD.

My question is this; if I make a swinging spindle -X to X+ (B axis) I thought I could add a C axis (table top turntable) to the mix to allow for 3D milling. Can I configure Masso under a 5 axis firmware to work like this?

The axis set up mainly depends on your CAM software because from the controller side of things it just controls the axis as per gcode.

Ok, great thanks. Also the turn table will be removable so I can use the machine as a 3 axis in many situations, is there a way to disable homing for that axis so it doesn't include it until needed?

ya sure, in the homing setting in the F1 screen, under homing sequences just don't tick the axis you don't want to home and it will be ignored.

Oh yeah! Perfect. This might be easier than I thought. Do we have many users running true 5 axis machines yet?

Thanks Jatinder?
