5 axis lathe setup

Can this be done with masso looking at driving a spindle with a servo and then using it as a axis .

Basically you want to operate it as a lathe, and use it to index too with the encoder for homing / spacing correct?

I'm needing it for a lathe to indexing chuck. I've seen people use servos as Drive motors for the spindles on the lathe wanting to know if it also can be used as a c axis for indexing after you turn a part for milling and drilling operations don't know if it's capable on the massive. I need five axis to manufacture this part.

We have the indexing option using C axis in our development list but only a few users have requested this and it's been on a very low development priority.
