AC Servo drives and motors

I have retrofitted several machines in the past and have a couple of machines I would like to put a new caontrol on.

Both prospective machines have Yaskawa servo drives and motors. One is using Sigma 3 and the other Sigma 5.

Has anybody used Masso with these drives?

If the drives accept STEP & DIRECTION signals then the MASSO can be connected to them.

Don't know of anyone using those specific models but as Arie said the drives need to support Step and Pulse.

On servos there are most often seen as PULS /PULS for step and SIGN /SIGN for direction.
