Hello,
I'm wondering why the automatic tool zero doesn't probe the tool height with two touch offs like the Z-Zero probing routine? It seems me like it would be better to bring the tool down to find the tool setter at one feed rate and then backoff 0.100" and the feed down at a slower specified feed rate for a more accurate measurement.
It would be nice to have a radio button to turn a secondary touch off, as others may not want to use it. I just found the feed rate I like to use for setting the tools can be a bit slow when touching off shorter tools if you decide to have a bigger clearance height set to accommodate longer tools.
