Axis Calibration

I'm having trouble getting my Z-axis calibrated. I understand the process with the wizard but what I'm unsure about is what value to use in the "Drive: pulses per revolution" field. I have Nema 23's so for the motor itself it's 200. The driver is set to 1600. I have a dial indicator on the Z and with 200 in this field, if I tell it to go .100" it moves .050". Thanks!

Garrett,

Setting Drive: Pulses per Revolution is easy, as it says how many pulses are required to turn the motor one revolution, so if you have the driver set to 1600 that is what you enter.

The only time you need to worry about the motor pulses per revolution is when the driver quotes a multiplier not a fixed figure.
