Blinking green light. No boot

Have a Masso G3. Been working fine, but today, I go to turn it on and I get thumping Z axis motor, no boot screen, and the green light blinks 4 times rapidly.... I disconnected the Z axis motor, repowered up the machine, and the Y axis motor starts thumping.. Running Clearpath motors. Nothing else connected besides stop switch. Hoping this is a simple fix.. Just getting this shop off the ground. I can't afford to be down with this thing.

@swimmster

Did Rex's tip help?

Does MASSO start up if you disconnect all inputs and outputs?

Photos / video will help us to help you.

Regards,

Arie.

Haven't been able to try Rex's tip yet. working 12 hour days with an hour and a half commute one way.. I need this machine to get going so that I can work 6 hour days with NO commute. Masso does not start up with everything unplugged except the screen. I have unplugged that as well with no effect. Nothing to video, as the only thing going on is, the green light blinks rapidly 4 times and keeps repeating over and over. Does this immediately upon receiving power. Pressing F1 does nothing. Tried that early on.

Thank you for the tips. Looking forward to trying Rex's for sure.

removing the battery will not make any difference.

Did you recently change anything on the setup? any wiring or any other changes?

can you please email us on support and let's fix a time to communicate on Facebook chat to help you get going ASAP else email/forum communication will take a long time.

Sorry for the delay on updating this.. Rex's battery removal did NOT fix my issue.. I have tested my power supply. Been using 12v system. was planning to update to 24v and use some relays for various items from the PLC systems. I had disconnected everything except power, to include removing the wifi module as well.. still same results. I have filed a trouble ticket with Masso Support. Will see where that goes. Have had to cancel out my christmas gift ideas I was planning to make. Hopefully I can resolve this one way or another. Thanks all for all the thoughts and ideas to try out.

Even better update!!

While hooking my Masso back up to get ready for a facebook call with Masso's Tech Support, I'll be damned if it didn't boot right up. Pinoy CNC called it.. Had to remove the battery and leave it unpowered.. but for alot more than 5 min.. She's alive again and I am about to update the firmware.

Thank you to ALLL for the help and suggestions. And to MASSO for the great forum.
