I had a similar problem, where I had accidentally changed the password to something unknown. Support sent me password reset software to sort that out.
I also had problems with uploading software so I setup a routine to handle updates.
- set aside a USB stick for software updates only.
- form a file structure where the updates are kept in folders with the update name.
- these folders are in an updates folder.
- password reset in it's own folder.
- the only files in the root are the current update.
- disconnect USB hub (keyboard & Gcode USB) and use USB port for updates.
- after update process, serial number file is removed from root of update USB.
- reboot.
- when rebooted successfully remove update USB and reconnect USB hub to use keyboard & Gcode USB.
- reboot.
When MASSO does an update, on completion of the update process it renames the extension of 000xxxxx.HTG to .HT1. My problem was that was not successful and when repowering as instructed it would result in a rerun of the update process. That is why I came up with the above routine.
So try running the above routine with password reset software and then with the latest software that support has supplied. Disconnect any pendant or PS controller before trying to install software.

Arie.
