Clearpath recommendation

Looking to replace my stepperline (23HS45-4204S) nema 23s with clearpath servos. I have a standard mill with 1605 ball screws and a cutting area of 810mm x 810mm. Would appreciate recommendations from the forum.

It s a fairly heavy duty setup. See photo below

Is there a reason you want to replace them with servo's?

If you are loosing steps and are trying to fix it by buying servo's then it may not be the best option. I don't want to put you off the idea of servo's so if you want servo's please ignore me.

Could I suggest the video below about stepper motors and how to drive them. You may find you have a driver issue.

The motors you have are 1/3rd more powerful than mine and your machine smaller and much lighter so the motors you have should be able to run the machine beyond it's limits if driven properly.
