Connect Wifi

I have read thru the posts and haven't found the answer to my wifi connect problem.

I turn on Masso,

click the wifi icon enter my network name and security key

press connect and get no SSID found.

Also there is no light on the wifi module in the controller

Help Please

Hi @waynep

Can you spare a screen print for the Wifi Screen so we can see your settings.

CTRL + P will copy the screen to your Flashdrive.

The WiFi module has no lights on it.

Cheers Peter

Hi Wayne,

It is normal for Masso to freeze for about 2 seconds while it copies the screen print to the USB flash drive

I don't know where you sent the picture too but you will be able to attach it here using the upload files at the bottom of the reply

Cheers Peter

Thanks for the photo, 10 minutes is a different matter for sure. Haven't come cross that one.

The message is saying it can't see the SSID as you said in your original post. At this point in the connection the password is not used as it will come up with a different message if the password is wrong.

Is your wifi 2.4G because Masso can only use 2.4G wifi.

Do you have the syntax of the WiFi name correct? Should there be a capital letter in the name for instance as the SSID is case sensitive.

Cheers Peter

Morning Peter,

Yes the router is 2.4 and yes the spelling and capitalization is the same as that on the router. Any thoughts?

Wayne,

It's evening here in Perth, Western Australia and well past bedtime for Peter in New Zealand.

The only thing I can think of, is your wifi router set to broadcast its SSID? You should be able to connect with it set to "silent", but who knows. Confirm that it is broadcasting its SSID and try again to connect.

Regards,

Arie.

on the router. Any thoughts?

ON THE BOTTOM /BACK OF MOST ROUTERS WILL BE THE LOG DETAILS IE: USERNAME & PASSWORD + IP ADDRESS TO LOG INTO ROUTER.

just type into the address bar of your web browser the IP address of your router IE:( 192.168.15.1) something like that. this will bring up the log in page to your router. just enter username & password then all the info regarding your router should appear including YOUR SSID.
