Righto, i got sick of losing steps on my 2500mm x 1300mm x 400mm vaccuum flatbed CNC router, so i've just bought some "Hybrid Stepper motors" so that i has some feedback at last. I'm 90% there, but thought i'd join this forum and see if you smart cookies can answer my current and future questions
