Cycle start button wiring.

I'm about to wire up a series of momentary push button switches for things like autoload G-code inputs, cycle start, etc.

Now there is no wiring diagram for these inputs but I'm assuming that they are setup the same as the touch probe pads, from +ve power through a 5.6k resistor then to the switch and then to the MASSO input. https://www.masso.com.au/docs/masso-cnc-controller-documentation/setup-and-calibration/outputs-list/

Also in the List of Configurable Outputs there is a Cycle Start Button Input what is the purpose of this output?

Arie.

I am using cycle start, cycle stop and homing buttons, will check tomorrow when l get back into work but dont believe there are any resistors.

power one side of switch and then to masso from other side of switch.

F1 screen input, select input and then right click to select option.

Will let masso confirm before you connect wiring.

Cycle Start Button Input in List of Configurable Output was a typo and has been now fixed, thanks for pointing out.

We have made an example wiring daigram on this page on how to wire a push button: https://www.masso.com.au/docs/masso-cnc-controller-documentation/setup-and-calibration/inputs-list/

It was a bit confusing to see an input listed in the outputs.

That makes wiring the switches easier.
