Difference between Home location and work offsets when setting up Linear ATC

Hello, I'm new here! :)
I'm trying to setup my linear atc. I'm struggling to figure out how to put in the x and y location for each tool holder so that it doesn't change when I change G54 offsets.
It seems if I make any changes to my G54 offsets it affects the tool holder locations?

How is it supposed to be setup?

I couldn't seem to find any documentation or videos explaining the difference between the home location setup in the Homing settings, vs the Work offsets, and how either affect the tool holder locations...

I hope my question makes a little sense!

I haven't set up a tool changer myself but you should be using machine coordinates to define the tool holder positions as these are a constant position no matter what working coordinate system you are using.

You can move to the tool position and read the machine coordinate off the screen. Enter that position into the tool changer and it should work.

I don't know if it will help and it doesn't cover tool changers at all but it explains the 3 coordinate systems used by Masso.

Cheers Peter
