found the below in Drewtronics PDF document and you can wire it the same way to MASSO, just supply the 5v to the receiver and connect one of MASSO inputs to the probe signal (white output wire).

Lol

I find it odd they use IR for the sensor... Line of sight isn't always possible ??

Still looks pretty good.

@tayloredtech those won't be line of sight sensors, modulated IR signals can travel far, reflect from surfaces and still the sensor can pick up the signals.

Even indirect IR risky imo when it comes to probing.

This is on the product page "The receiver has a magnetic backing and can be attached to the interior wall of your equipment. Mounting must be line of sight to the spindle probe. Wiring is a simple 3 wire connection."

Maybe you should send a note to Andrew at Drewtronics about your concerns. He is very responsive to customers concerns. I bet he could provide advice on the best location to place the sensor for your application. Myself Im happy with my wired version. Its been working perfectly for nearly 2 years and Andrew developed the TTS version at my request so I know he will go out of his way to help a fellow enthusiast.

Thanks Stephen,

It's down the list of things I'll look into but not needed so much yet. I say that but I do have to cut out a bunch of aluminium pieces in the next week or two, so maybe I should get on it haha.
