EMCO Concept turn 105 = turn 120

hi,

i retrofitted an EMCO Concept Turn 105 (= EMCO Turn 120). everything works. only i am confused about the X-axis configuration and the homing configuration for the X-axis. i cannot figure out the combination which works fine when running a program. i looks like the masso is configured as a normal lathe, it shows the tool under the workpiece and not above where it should be for the emco turn 120. if i move the X-axis down (decrease the diameter) the DRO show that the diameter is increasing. i cannot figure out the right combination of axis inverting and homing setting so that everything works as it should be. my home switches are in the right upper corner of the machine (exact where emco does their homing routine). it would be a great help if you can provide me with some screenshots of you're emco turn 120 config.

@tantancnc

You also need to set the tool position (front/back) in the tool table.

Get it moving in the correct direction using X axis invert, then set it to travel in the correct direction for homing (homing invert) and finally set tool position.

Regards,

Arie.

Have you tried your Emergency button, yet? my machine keeps on moving while the emergency button is pressed.
