Be aware that there are similar looking tool setters with 4 wires only and consist of mechanical switches.
Please check your user manual as this product has 6 wires and has active height sensing.
This tool setter comes in either NPN or PNP output format.
Depending on which one you have it will determine how it should be connected.

NPN Tool Setter

PNP Tool Setter

For this tool setter the pull down resistor is not needed

The documentation indicates that there is a Green and Blue wire for an overtravel output on the tool setter.
This appears to be a NO contact but please check your tool setter to confirm

Just a small note, most of the products labeled "CNCBoy" on sites like AliExpress are the same/typical 4-wire NC 2-button types documented in the other more generic thread: https://forums.masso.com.au/threads/tool-setters-with-mechanical-switches.3826/

Thank you.
I have removed the CNCBOY reference from this topic
I picked up the image and manual from the original topic assuming that the correct information was posted and assumed that the manual related to the product and that the 2 products were the same. Clearly they are using the same case for multiple products which is not unusual but in this case it would not work out well.
It is a good reminder that you need to have the correct manual for the item you are using.
Cheers Peter
