Feature Request: Add Masso Software to allow Masso to be a NAS Client

The current implementation Masso for G-Code File Transfer is: via a thumbdrive (sneaker net), or via Masso Link which means that the Masso Controller act like a network "Server". Which each of these implementation have its own limitations, for example: only one User can use Masso Link without problems, large file transfers have been a problem, user files can NOT be transferred during a G-Code run on the CNC, etc, etc.

Why not implement Masso File System/Transfers as a "Masso a Client to a NAS", where the are no limits to the number User of connections, large file size transfers are not a problem, management of files are simple as with any normal PC file system. The NAS (Network Access Storage) Server can be implemented within an existing online PC, or in an Inexpensive Dedicated Hardware, purposely designed for the task. I think most Masso Controller, especially those that use Masso Link, already contain the necessary WIFI hardware to make the Client network connection to a NAS. The current Masso Installed Thumbdrive could continue to be used as-is, and it could provide a directory "mount point" for the NAS. A google and Amazon search provides many options for NAS, depending on User price tolerance. For a small Shop, a very inexpensive NAS system can be created with a simple Raspberry PI Micro Computer.

I think "Masso as a NAS Client" would solve many of my problems with File Transfer and Access, and would expand Masso usability in our shop.

Thanks for the consideration

Are there other users that think using NAS as Masso Storage would be a good idea? See previous post.

Is this idea be considered?

How hard would a NAS Access implementation be for Masso?

Thinks,
