Funny Huanyang Inverter (HY01D523B)

Hi, I've just acquired a 2nd hand Huanyang Inverter (HY01D523B). I have downloaded the manual and am trying to set parameters, but when I press 'set' I get a range, not of PD parameters(which apparently go to PD144 or more) but Pn. from Pn1 to Pn 35. There is no correlation between these Pn parameters and the PD parameters - e.g., PD13(reset) shas values 1-10, but Pn 13 has values 0.0 - 4.0
Can nyone help me with this or have I just bought a bad unit

I also looked at a couple of manuals from different sites and that certainly doesn't make a bit of sense to me either. Could the vfd be labeled wrong some how? Maybe a photo of the vfd and the identification on it might help???

i am using Huanyang inverter,

you need to set up this inverter in this order.

Pd013= 8 (reset to factory)

if your spindle is 400hz

Pd005= 400

Pd004= 400

Pd003= 400

Pd072= 400 (do this step by step)

Potentiameter knob Pd002=1 and Pd070=1



if your spindle is 300hz

Pd005= 300

Pd004= 300

Pd003= 300

Pd072= 300 (do this step by step)

Potentiameter knob Pd002=1 and Pd070=1

Thanks for answers guys. I've discovered that the unit is a huangyang look-alike, really an Isacon Askpower vfd, though it is labled as a HY01D523B. From another forum I learn: 'The isacon devices are a special version of the Huanyang. Many of the usual parameters are not available, and they are unsuitable for use with standard induction motors. Special purpose for certain high speed spindles. '

So I guess I'll have to put it back on Ebay!
