Fusion 360/ HSM Works Tool library to override Masso's Tool Library

Hi All,

This might seam like a stupid question, but currently my CAM tool library matches Masso's F4 screen library 1 for 1. This does get time consuming when setting up new jobs that require different tools.
Is it possible to leave Masso's Tool Library blank and rely only on the CAM library?

Hi Ethan,

Depending on how you use MASSO you don't need to put anything in the F4 screen Tools table.
You only need to use the F4 tool table if you have an auto tool changer.
If you do not have a tool changer then as long as you know what tool has what number when it comes to changing tool then you are good to go.
If you can't remember a simple hand written list of what tool had what number might be all you need or a printout of the Job sheet from your cam software should have the required info in it already.
