G-Code editor

Question concerning 'G-Code editor' feature on G3 controller .. How many lines of code can the editor deal with?

Of all the files I have stored .. I have not found one yet that was small enough for the editor to deal with at the machine ..

Hi Gary,

The editor is for editing small hand written Gcode and the limitation is more character related than lines.
I did get carried away one day and counted them and from memory it is something like 1000 characters.
If you are opening Cam generated files you would be lucky to find one small enough that would open.

I just wanted to confirm that there wasn't something bogus going on with my device.

99.9% of what I do is Cam generated so I'll just go back to the computer for edits.
