Thanks Nemo1966 and yes we will be working on this in the future, its just that due to the unexpected USB driver updates we are behind all development and this is something that we wanted to add including tapping cycles and much more.

still no update. its allmost 2024 now

Just bought a used tormach 1100m with Masso g3 control and I like it until I realized today it doesn’t support ridged tapping OR thread milling. I’m very disappointed. If I get some extra funds I may have to get a different controller. I don’t understand how this is possible. How hard is it to have these codes? What goes into it?

You’ve been working on this since 2018? Yeesh guys. It’s been 5 yrs….im coming to understand that tapping and threading are industry standards. What gives?

I realized today it doesn’t support ridged tapping OR thread milling
Thread milling is gcode from CAM software and has been supported from day one.
Rigid tapping is planned for a upcoming software update, as I no longer work for MASSO I can't say when that will be.
