Gecko G214 Drive Step/Dir Wiring

Hello, any help would be much appreciated. I am in the process of wiring three Gecko G214 drives to Masso on my CNC router and am looking for confirmation of the Step and Direction signal wiring, which are 3.3/5v optocoupled inputs. Is the G214 wired similarly to the G340 in the Masso Documentation? My confusion comes from not knowing how the step/dir differential signal outputs of the Masso work.

The G214 has four pins: Signal ground, Step, Dir, Common. The table below is my plan for the connections. Does it look right?

1 Signal GroundThis pin is optional. This pin must connect to the controller ground terminal if the drive's FAULT and FULLSTEP outputs are going to be used; otherwise it can be left unconnected.-ve of 24v supply shared with Masso
2 StepThis input pin connects to the controller's STEP output. The input accepts 3.3V and 5V logic level signals; if 3.3V logic is used, a 3.3VDC supply voltage from the controller must be connected to Pin 4. The maximum step pulse frequency is 2.5 MHz, the minimum logic '0' time is 200ns and the minimum logic '1' time is 200ns. The STEP input current is -2.5 mA with 3.3V logic and -5 mA when 5V logic is used. Stepping occurs on the positive going edge of the STEP input.Masso Step+
3 DirectionThis input pin connects to the controller's DIRECTION output. The input accepts 3.3V and 5V logic level signals; if 3.3V logic is used, a 3.3VDC supply voltage from the controller must be connected to Pin 4. The minimum setup time is 0ns and the minimum hold time is 500ns. The DIRECTION input current is -2.5mA with 3.3V logic and -5mA when 5V logic is used.Masso Step-
4 Common (+3.3/5v)This pin connects to the controller's +5VDC supply terminal if 5V logic is used or a +3.3VDC supply terminal if 3.3V logic signals are used. The maximum current draw from the supply is 15mA at +5VDC or 8mA at +3.3VDC. The absolute maximum voltage limits to this pin is -0.3VDC and +6VDC.+ve of 5v regulator from 24v supply shared with Masso

One more nugget from the manual: "DIR, STEP are active low inputs (should be connected to ground using mechanical switches or open collector transistors)"

Is there any public documentation for the Masso internal output circuits? I will trust your approval, but I don't understand how it works.
