Help with VFD Spindle Control YL620-A-2.2KW

Hello All,

I wired my VFD to Masso and I wanted to do a quick sanity check before I turn it on in case there was something obviously wrong.

I have a YL620-A-2.2KW (110v). I do not see much documentation/examples online with this VFD so any help would be appreciated.

Solid Red, VI1 -> Spindle Control Pin 1

Solid Black, GND -> Masso Negative Power Input Terminal (From 12vdc power supply)

Clear, REV -> Spindle Control Pin 7

Transparent Red, FWD -> Spindle Control Pin 5

Does this seem correct?

Also, is there any settings I have to input into the VFD to allow Masso to control it directly?

While I don't know anything about the VFD that you have I can tell you for sure that you have not connected it right.
You have only connected half of the Masso Forward / Reverse circuits to start with.

I strongly recommend you watch and follow the VFD install video in the link below. It will take you step by step through the install process.

Did you manage to get your YL620-A-2.2KW working? I have the same one and can't get it working... The main issue is the wiring on the signals.

Any help will be appreciated...

My Setup
FWD - Maso Spindle 5
REV - Maso Spindle 7
Speed 0-10v - Maso Spindle 1
??? - Maso Spindle 6
??? - Maso Spindle 5
