In the mill version of the MASSO controller software if you face an issue that the homing cycle is not completing after homing all the 3 axis, then is caused due to the reason that the automatic tool zero is enabled on the controller but not wired or being used.

To fix this please either disable automatic tool zero if you are not using it or setup automatic tool zero properly as per the instructions on this link: https://www.masso.com.au/docs/masso...tion/touch-probes-plates/automatic-tool-zero/

Hi there,

I've come up against the issue described above of the homing cycle not completing with Auto Tool Zero enabled.

I've double checked the settings and have found that I can reliably fix the issue by opening Settings > Auto Tool Zero and turning it off then back on.

After doing this, and homing the machine again it completes successfully including touching the tool on the Zero plate.

When I power cycle the machine, we're back to square one. I have to repeat the above steps.

Here's a video of it performing as described: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1mFXZUHjZpkYkMrCVrtlxvfly0OXPm1cQ

NOTE: The Auto Tool Zero cycle always completes successfully during tool changes (e.g. T1M6) even when the homing cycle is not completing.

Please let me know what to try to troubleshoot. Could it be a software issue? Am running software version 3.52.2a

Looking forward to suggestions/fixes.

Thanks for the info and the video.

Will email you the latest software as the one you have is a bit old, please see if it resolves the issue.
