Homing cycle will no longer continue onto tool setting

Hi all,

This is my first post here. Just recently bought a machine from CanCam CNC in Canada with a Masso G3 Touch controller. The machine was working as expected, and after homing to Machine Coordinates 0, 0, 0 it would move to the fixed tool setter plate at the back edge of the table and touch off. For reasons that seem unclear to me, the machine now stops after homing at 0, 0, 0 and then says "Homing Please Wait" and the machine does not make its rapid movement to the tool setter plate.

I have checked that the tool setter is in fact getting signal. It's set to low so when it's triggered the input changes to high. Any ideas as to what may have caused this? If I disable tool setting, the homing cycle completes without issue. I've got a call set up with the support team of the folks who sold me the machine, however I thought someone here might also be able to help. Thanks!

Thank you for the quick reply. I am running v4.01

I will have to contact them to get the original config settings, as I wasn't given any files other than what was loaded into the machine. I suspect that when I hooked up a keyboard to the Masso Touch, I must have inadvertently changed a setting while poking around in the F1 screen trying to familiarize myself with the controller as Masso is new to me.

It wasn't long after I got the keyboard hooked up that things went awry.

Solved! The Y axis maximum travel is 36.500 and the touch plate location was set to 36.5004. I've moved back the touch plate location by 0.1 and the homing cycle works as it should. I had moved the touch plate X coordinate over a hair, and must have added a digit to the Y by mistake. I suppose this is what is known as operator error. haha
