Funny things happening.... I tried the latest beta a couple of days ago, had problems so went back to 4.01 (never had 4.02 listed in myworkshop to download), had to re-enter all my settings which was fine as I had saved them. Everything was working fine till I set the homing speed to 5000, then it wouldn't home properly, it would home but not move to the standoff positions. I played around and found this happened with homing speed set between 4700-5700. Then after a while even 6000 would cause problems.
If I home it repeatably this is what happens;
Starts at the right standoff x=125 y=100 z=20
first home put x and y in the wrong place but z homes (x and y move maybe 30mm)
2nd puts all in right place
3rd puts x and y in wrong place and doesn't retract z, so I move it manually so it doesn't hit the table
4th is right
5th homing x and y wrong
6th is right
and it just keeps repeating this pattern??
The error it shows when it stops short is "A HARD Limit " or "Z hard Limit" yet neither switches are active on the led's on the sensors or in the masso setup page?
Haven't changed any wiring, settings as were before and it was working until I changed the homing speed to 5000? Is there a way to reset/wipe the masso before reinstalling? I will continue to test today and see if I can get some more data.
But it's weird...........Oh and the bit of poly pipe taped to the torch is my high tech floating pen holder for testing ;-)
