homing Question

Hi, I have an masso g3 for my 2 axis plasma and I put 2 mechanical limits switchs on it and I find out that when the axis hit the limit switch, the machine stop and retract (150mm in my casse) like it should do but if the limit switch doesn't ''unclick'' in 10mm, the homing process stop and a have to click again on the homing swtich to finish the homing process, don't know if its a security?... do I really need to change my mecanichal limit switch for like a magnetic limit switch or can I desable the ''10 mm security''? Hope you can understand, I speak french...

Ben,

If you are travelling more that 10mm after you operate the homing switch you have your homing travel rate set too high. As soon as the homing switches are triggered MASSO stops the feed and starts the back off procedure.

Good afternoon been our evening, do you have any pics are diagram of the how you wired in your mechanical switches for some reason I'm trying to follow the diagram on the website and my Masso is still not seen my switches the matter what I do. They are running on a 12 V power supply for all of my homing switches and breakaway switch on a plasma machine. Thanks for any assistance
