Huan Yang GT Series VFD

Hello, I just got a Huan Yang GT Series VFD (GT-7R5G-2). It runs my spindle fine in manual mode but would totally appreciate help connecting it to MASSO. It has an control circuit input for 0-10V (AI2) but no FWD input.

Unless a manual is available it is extremely difficult to provide advice.

I found what looks like a relevant manual on the internet (see attached), the following is based on the information from the attached PDF (use at your own risk). Please check that the PDF matches your documentation and review the parameter choices against the relevant pages.

VFD Controller Parameters:

• Set parameter P0.01 = 1 (Run Command Source - Functions such as Forward/Reverse can be controlled by multi-function input terminals, page 28)
  
• Set parameter P0.07 = 1 (Frequency A command source, 0 = Keypad, 1 = AI1, page 30)
  
• Set parameter P0.10 = 0 (Frequency command selection, 0 = Only frequency A command is active, page 32)
  
• Set parameter P5.01 = 1 (Assign S1 input as FORWARD, page 44-45)
  
• Set parameter P5.02 = 2 (Assign S2 input as REVERSE, page 44-45)
  
• Set parameter P5.10 = 0 (Enable 2 wire control mode 1, page 47)
  
• Set parameter P5.12 = 0.0V (A1 lower limit, page 48)
  
• Set parameter P5.13 = 0.0% (A1 lower limit, page 48)
  
• Set parameter P5.14 = 10.0V (A1 upper limit, page 49)
  
• Set parameter P5.15 = 100.0% (A1 upper limit, page 49)
  

Wiring (Run/Stop):

• Connect VFD +24V terminal to VFD PW terminal (see Figure 4-13, page 13)
  
• Masso Spindle Control Terminal 1 - Connect to VFD Terminal AI1
  
• Masso Spindle Control Terminal 2 - Leave unconnected
  
• Masso Spindle Control Terminal 3 - Leave unconnected
  
• Masso Spindle Control Terminal 4 - Connect to VFD Terminal COM
  
• Masso Spindle Control Terminal 5 - Connect to VFD Terminal S1
  
• Masso Spindle Control Terminal 6 - Connect to VFD Terminal COM
  
• Masso Spindle Control Terminal 7 - Connect to VFD Terminal S2
  
• Masso Controler GND - Connect to VFD GND terminal
