Pete could you post a photo of how you wired the fuse inside your VFD? I m generally pretty good with wiring electrical Components, but you can never be too safe? Also did you use a fast blow-out fuse?

I simply put it in the phase line into the VFD. Between the power outlet at the wall and the VFD as you would normally fuse a piece of electrical equipment. I used an inline fuse to make it easy and used a fast blow fuse of about 2 amp if memory serves as my VFD only pulls 1 amp under no load. I upgraded the fuse once the VFD and spindle were working as it never hurts to have a fuse in your electrical equipment.
