Increase federate over 100%?

Could this be implemented?

Sometimes when I post a job I clearly see that I could push it up. Only way to go around this is to stop the job, repost and repeat...

Yeah, it's certainly a feature many people have asked for. You'll see it requested in a few topics especially the analogue for an analogue input where a potentiometer could be used to ramp a set feed rate up and down. Masso have it on a todo list but don't hold your breathe just yet!

I'm new to this forum and to the product. But as an idea, what I currently do with the MAch3 setup is use a much higher feed rate when I am doing my POST creation, and then throttle back on the interface



Just a thought, and will be the way to use the MASSO

When you say throttle back on the interface what do you mean? Once the job has started there is no way to change the spindle speed

Yes this should be on the Masso. Federate override and spindle override are very common and useful

Never saw this in a firmware release.

It was working for sure 100% - the alpha for the backlash comp removed the feature - I can downgrade and post a vid once I have change the spindle. I m converting to R8 to get a better release on my ATC - MT3 sux :)

@kiwicnc does it actually override above 100% I never tried it
