Is there a known issue with File editor?

Tried to open several files of various sizes. Smallest being 128 lines of code, but editor gives same message on all 'File to large' on all ..

Yes in the new software version we have set a limit of 2000 characters in a file as due to memory constraints larger file editing was causing issues. We are working on a new editor design and with that there will be no limit on the file size.
