Is this the correct setup for touch plate?

This is the correct setup for the touch plate with the masso?

3,6 ohm resistor connected to + and B then D - to spindle with a clip?

Hi @adstaggs

Your drawing is correct and nicely done. You are saying that you will use a 3.6 ohm resistor but that it too low.

Use a 3K6 (3600 ohm) resistor or higher.

Don't forget to invert the input so it shows normally low and changes to high what the tool touches the plate.
