On the Jog screen (F3) you can click and hold the Home button on the screen until it changes to start and it will home the machine.

You can also setup one of the inputs to be a home button and place a button somewhere convenient.

Hi guy's, first post and still assembling my router. I want to assign the button on the MPG to Home but can't find a diagram. Is it possible through the 15pin plug?

Hi @stevet

welcome to the forum. I don't believe there is a button on the mpg control for homing use. I used a normally open momentary contact push button to send a 24v signal when pushed, to an input on the Masso that was set up to start the homing sequence. Push button can be mounted anywhere convenient. I put mine on the side of the main electrical box. It's easier than pushing the keyboard buttons for the homing cycle, especially since my keyboard doesn't have a home key.

Thanks evermech, this is the MPG I have.

I was hoping that one of the spare pins on the Masso 15 pin plug could be utilised.

@evermech

The button is a momentary and there are 21 wires. I don't have a wiring diagram for it so I will open is up and test.

I will use a DB25 connector to my control box so all the wires / functions are available in the future.

that should work just fine. Just a matter of figuring out what's what in the mpg. Homing is easily set up utilizing an input of the Masso.
