here is link for youtube ,- move video at 17.45 min. and there start about 3 axis , and then move video at 22.04 and then the guy talk about POKEYS board and true this is connect all 3 MPG's

here is other only idea ( not system )

Hi Arie thank you for your reply, may i ask you because i do not know much about what you can connect with masso i have lot of question so if you will know could you answer me please -
  1. so if i connect axis as you mention i should be able to move with both axis simultaneously or only separately but without use axis selector button ?
  2. and were to connect increment selector turn button ?
  3. i had idea to build up smole external control panel with smole LCD screen for display position jog buttons for axis move and selectors for set up spindle speed regulator, feed rate override control, and couple others should be possible to connect with masso? if you are not sure or you don't know it"s fine nobody can know everything .
  4. Arie i am also interesting if is possible to set up two axis that you can move by axis in diagonal direction by press one button and angel you set up by selector? on lathe you can turn taper manually without set up it in program.
  5. Arie may i ask you are you use lathe or milling machine i very appreciate your help regards Roman

@breezy

Using Keyboard it seems to be only possible to move one axis at a time. Are you sure that it is possible to move two axis using the jog inputs?

The only way I know how to move multiple axis, is by entering GCodes in the MDI window.

Hi LALA thanky you for your reply , i do not use masso yet i am just thinking about tu buy but before i will do i have to know more about this card in this moment i find out that masso is probably very fast independent of PC platform probably very well prepare for milling machine but for lathe function are very poor and you need extra computer with fusion 360 for example created missing operation and generate G code for ,even as lot of IO in and out ports for 600 usd i thing should be more complex so maybe later masso team will upgrade and add better functionality for late

Roman,

Checked with the software designers and the ability to jog two axis at the same time, was removed for safety reasons.

So the only way for more than one axis to move at the same time is through gcode commands, either in a program or in the MDI.

Arie.

Hi Arie i did ( i hope i send in right person ) and is more like 2 weeks and no body response - i believe probably not so much people use masso for lathe at least no one need to concern use this function manually, but i believe can be useful function, even for guys which use router, but because with router you do more complex job is not so need to use tis function so much , with lathe you do often chamfering and if you are in manual mode is handy to have this possibility ,other way is to change for chamfer tool -it is fine for edges but if you need to do something longer even 20mm can be problem , but i believe can be set up in program smole specific area and let to program create this chamfer part and probably will it easier,

This is another very good reason for my previous Feature Request to implement "Input Pin Macros", see:

With a "Input Pin Macro" any G-Code could be easily configured to do almost anything for the user. Currently I use the MIDI History lines to do this type of repeated tasks, but the MIDI History is often lost (i.e at startup) and must be retyped. Input Pin Macros could be reloaded or changed and saved at will.

Thanks,

Eldonb
