Loading Tool Lists

@masso-support

Is there a way to upload a tool list that I downloaded from my controller into another Masso controller?

Just finished swapping out my old controller with my 2nd unit and want to upload my standard tool list.

Cheers, Stephen Brown

Hi Stephen

I had a play and I think this will work for you.

Do a save settings on the old system. F1 screen "Save and load calibration settings" Keep the MASSO_Tools.htg file

Go to the new system and do a save settings. (Keep a backup set of the new machines files on your PC just in case I'm wrong.)

Using your PC, replace the tools file of the new machine on your USB flash drive with the one you saved from the old machine.

Go back to the Save and Load Calibration settings page and load the backup files.

When you reboot you should have your old tool list on your new machine.

Let us know how you get on

Cheers

Hi Peter,

Thanks very much for your help. That method worked like a charm. Sure glad I don't have measure all my tool lengths. I will setup a seperate tool list for my steel tooling and try to load it that way as well. That should make it easier when I have to switch out the tooling when machining different materials types.

BTW I finally installed the 12V red four relay board we got from aliexpress as well. Now have full control of my BLDC Spindle Drives CW, CCW, Start & Stop functions through Masso. Thanks so much or your help with that TTL test procedure. I really think they should put that TTL Output test procedure in the documentation.

That's Great news Stephen,

I know what a pain it is to fill in the tool list.

It is on my list of videos to make for the documentation. How to use the TTL and how to test. Where does all the time go?

Cheers

Peter
