Logic for emco lathe tool changer

Hello,

I have looked all over the forum and I cannot find what I need. I need logic written for a emco PC-55 lathe tool changer, how do I get this done? The one that is in the software I can not get it to work.

I bought an emco pc50 lathe for use at my work and it currently running the original fanuc control, however it runs on an old 486 cpu with windows 3.1 and the interface is quite outdated. Id like details on how you hooked this up for the pc55 as its very similar, basically the replacement for the pc50. Im also making a 5c headstock for it to bar feed, and using this controller would make that a lot easier.

have you had any luck getting your atc to work? the documentation says out put 1 will go high i dont have any out puts other than ttl. would really like to see how its wired...

Joe,

The TTL outputs are what you use. Connect relays to the outputs to drive your ATC then assign those outputs to the functions in the Touch Changer list.
