Is this the way to wire the Masso for g203v just want to make sure. Also can the estop be powered up from the pwr connection at the top of the Masso? I don t have it powered up right now waiting on a few more parts but I assume these are 12v or 24v depending what you have powering Masso. Looking to get a few things done while waiting on parts

Thanks for any help, kinda new to the CNC stuff but eager to learn

Curt

Is the g203v a spindle? your on the step and direction for X axis, yes all of the red tabs are powered and can be used for E-Stop. Just use the NC side of the switch and tie into E-Stop 2 or if you are running the pendant use E-Stop 1.

Go to the support tab and check on documentation or videos and learn away..

I used separate power & ground terminal bars on mine, the E-Stop feeds the right 3 reds then back to the Masso E-S #2. I did this so I can reset my ClearPath servos if need be.

thanks for help, I ended up moving the dc negative and positive terminal blocks for Masso power supply and landed my black wires on the dc negative. The 203v s are probably overkill for my set up At this time but I want to be able to grow and some day use electronics on plasma/router for aluminum. SegoMan I see you are very active on the forums where are you from?

Southern Missouri, I have been following the THC post you guys have been active in I was under the impression that there was a working THC but appears the Proma is hit and miss. I hope something gets figured out I don t have the skills you guys have to figure that stuff out. I was kinda hoping to get the price unit people seem to like it, but seems to be problem with Masso.

Man your down in the Missouri , I'd like to see the plasma table that cut the Gateway Arch! I allowed space for the Price unit in my THC box before the Dingo Wrangler / Lilow came on the scene with his builds. Wood Block = CAD (Cellulose Aided Design Can be cardboard also).

Here is the vid on it so far, working on the next vid now.:

Wow that is massive, I m gonna start with 4x4 then switch to 4x8 if all goes well. Don t have much room right now I have a mustang restoration project in the garage and wife is pissed because the other vehicles are outside. looks like you have pretty good size shop. I just want to make hot rod parts and tinker around with fabrication projects.

Do some looking on Y/T one guy uses air rams to swing his table up up against the wall out of the way. A 4x4 is a good size as it will allow you to fit a full sheet on the table and harvest away or even do an index cut if needed. I spend more time cropping sheets for the 2x2 table than I do on some of the cuts, so I decided to go big or go home.

The majority of the beams on my build was up cycled, I had all the pcs in front of me and laid it out so there would be no waste. The water tray and tank took a 8x20, 4x10 and a 4x8 sheet of flat / less than a 5 gal buck of scrap was left over. I had a 125 mile road trip to get to a 20' 500T press brake that could handle my water pan, very little welding there..

Curt,
I have a mustang restoration project in the garage

Is that a restoration or a new build????? :)

Looking good though.

That was a good move, it allows for "adjustments" later on, because they will happen, I know.
I don t have the skills you guys have to figure that stuff out

You will learn, because we are here to help you. :)

Regards,

Arie.

I can tell you now their is nothing wrong with the Proma mated to the Masso!

Proof is in the pudding that it works if you watch my videos.

Some people on this forum have no idea about what they are doing and are giving out false facts!

My knowledge of the Proma is just wire it up and start cutting, same goes with other brands.

The other thing is there is a lot more people using Masso for plasma cutting but are not active on the forum, i think for them they don't want to waste there time helping other people unless they are prepared to pay for it. I had a friend like that back in Australia, friends are friends - work is work and 60 bucks an hour was mates rates, same price was for people he didn't know!

Ross.

The forums are great, I belong to many forums most car related stuff. I look at it this way, If I can help someone I will, because one day I will need help as well. It s all about knowledge sharing, sometimes you get good info and sometimes not, but got to take good with bad.

I have seen your videos looks like you are up and running good now.
