Masso 0-10v spindle control problem?

My Masso conversion for my Laguna IQ pro is almost finished with the exception of the masso not controlling the spindle speed. I've been talking with masso tech support but haven't been able to figure it out yet. I am not getting any voltage change from the spindle output 1 which should be between 1-10 volts controlling the vfd spindle speed. Tech support thinks it may be due to not having a common ground. I have tried both the ACM and DCM from the VFD connected to spindle output 4 (ground) as well as the DCM to pin 4 and the ACM to masso ground, but neither will give me a voltage change. I am able to manually control the spindle speen with the Delta ms300 VFD dial.
I have changed VFD setting 00-20 from 0 to 2 and still only a few mv from pin 1.
Would it be safe to switch the ACM to pin 4 and DCM to masso ground to test?
Any thoughts?

The ACM and DCM circuits are completely separate.
Do not mix them together on MASSO.
Depending on how you have the NPN /PNP switch set in your VFD you could damage MASSO or the VFD by connecting them together.

The correct wiring for a Delta MS300 is shown in the MASSO Documentation

Did you follow the step by step instruction video for setting up a VFD and installing it onto MASSO?

Now that you have it connected the VFD to MASSO have you followed the troubleshooting guide?
If so what were the results please?

Cheers Peter
