Masso Homing on Y & B Axis

Hello All,

I am up and running with all of my axis and have a question about the homing of my Y & B axis. I am running DMM servos and when I home the X & Y axis the gantry seems to go out of square and then adjusts to square when the proximity sensors are triggered and the stand off completed. After the homing is complete the Y & B axis is great and stays square.

Is this the auto squaring of the gantry? It just looks strange.

hi @canmorebrewguy we recently received a bug report for this issue when using high PPR servo setup and have released a patch for this, can you please email on support with your controller serial number so that we can email you the pre-release software for your testing.

Mine does the same thing. Its almost like the b axis starts a fraction of a second later once it is homed all good. I am running stepper motors with encoders.

Is this patch required for my unit as well.

yes, you will need the new software. We just released v3.48 and its been pushed out via our new online portal called myWorkshop.
