MASSO Link V2.0 file transfer issue

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem.

I have a G2 unit V3.49 software.

I have setup the Masso link as per Peters video.

I am having trouble sending files to Masso, I get a file transfer error.

I can send them to a subfolder. For example if I drag the file and populate the first box with Test. The file goes to Masso and is in the created folder called "Test"

It doesnt matter what I try I cant send them to the root directory.

Hello Masso. I am having this same issue. I downloaded the v2.0 link software yesterday, 10 April, and my G2 is running 3.49, downloaded and installed on 9 April.

I have a Mac laptop and a Windows laptop. Both platforms give the same result in that a connection is established, but the file transfer error message is displayed.

Also, the Windows Masso Link display is incomplete.

The machine works normally. I use the F1 save and load settings/reboot after the software update.

Display distortion in Windows is due to scaling beyond 100% on HiRes monitors.

File transfer fail is send attempt to root folder of USB.

Both faults are being fixed and we are currently testing. If you would like to beta test new version please contact MASSO Support so we can arrange tests.

Is Masso Link v1.6 supposed to work on a G2 with the 3.49 software uprade?

Mine does not appear to do so, but I have not persevered with it (yet).

Hi Hugo,

MASSO Link 1.6 requires version 3.48 or lower on the G2 or and4.0 or lower for the G3.

Hello Ari,

I resorted to retrofitting 3.48 so that I could use Link 1.6. I use my machine for a lot of precision drilling outlays, so I am constantly transferring small files to my machine.
Do Masso intend to notify users when Link v2 is up and running properly so we can move on with 3.49 and v2, and if so how will the announcement be made?
