Hi Guys,
I am not sure if I am missing something small here but i am unable to get my Proma THC to work while in a cutting process.
Here is what i have in place.
Proma connected to Masso on a separate power supply.
I have resistors in place on the 3 input signals from the Proma.
I suspected it was noise so i rebuilt the whole table with shielded wire and followed earthing guidelines.
Set the Proma to same settings as Ross suggested in his video found here on the forum.
I am Running the latest version of Masso on my G3.
When i put the Proma in Test mode, enable THC and start the torch (test with Plasma Off) i get the response i would expect,
Z axxes moves up and down as per the test sequence from the Proma.
I have lowered and increased the voltage on the Proma to try and see if that effects any changes.
While the system is in a cutting sequence i can see the THC switches on on the Masso screen, i can see the Proma giving up or down commands (LED's on the Proma),
but i am not detecting any Z axes movement, either on screen or on a piece of tape on the stepper motor, when the machine is a cut height of example
1.5mm i can see the distance to the work piece increases in a straight line (Heat warped sheet), the Proma says it must go down but the Z does not react at all.
at this point THC option is on the Masso as set by the G-Code, the Z reading on screen stays at cut height with no movement up and down.
I am unsure if i am missing a step here, or i have neglected to setup something.
What is different to the documentation, my Pull down resistors is higher than 5.6k Ohm, i believe they are 8k Ohm
Any guidance or advice would be highly appreciated.
