Hi Masso

I was wondering , why you did not add another views for the working object on the screen . specially for 5 axis machining , now I can see XY & YX only .

My question is it possible to add another screen to show the other faces of the working object . or add an access for DSTV , STL , viewer such that we can watch other faces due to machining time .

I do not understand the need for any of the visual toolpath. I watch the cutter not the screen. Am I missing something? Can you explain the reason for watching a simulation instead of the actual cutting?

I would rather have the G code larger so I can see it without getting my bifocals 6" from the screen.

Not really needed, but I generally like to look at the display and see if there are any "radical" moves I don't approve of. Most of the time simple retracts, or errors in a post processor.

Hi ...

Actually it is not a matter of watching the screen instead of the machine , but if you are doing a G-code for 5 axis machining , you would prefer to see the path at all faces and examine it to make sure it is ok ,

while if someone using 2 or 3 axes then the matter will be different .

Hi @hamel

Masso only displays planer views in the X & Y axis. The new YX view was added to the G3 because some users want to configure their machine 90 degrees to what it should be so this brings into line what they see on the screen with what they see on the table.
