Masso update not working

Hi Guys.

Loaded up my latest software for a trial run all loaded up ok all my settings are wrong inputs and out puts plus my plasma will no fire on this software even when I change all my outputs and inputs back tried a few times and then reverted back to my old software what am I doing wrong

Justin,

MASSO used to include a warning to check all settings after a update in the email message, but I just checked the emails that I received for update 3.47 & 3.47.4 on a G2 and there was no warning this time, also there isn't a warning in the software update documentation. I'll add that to the documentation update todo list.

In regards to the no fire of the plasma could you supply more details as to what was or was not happening so we can help you to solve the problem.

Hi Arie .

Well plasma cuts ok with old software can test fire plasma all ok .

Loaded new software all went ok after loading saw all my inputs were in the wrong spots like my friend button operated low lub alarm

Put them in the correct position homed machine tried to test fire plasma nothing loaded up cut programe retried to test fire nothing ran program touch moves to position follows program no plasma arc loaded old software machine cuts ok it's like I'm not getting a plasma fire signal from my ttl output moved the output still nothing

I'm not familiar with plasma code commands, but can you issue a MDI command (like M3?) to operate your ttl output and check that it operates the relay or reassign output to M62/65 P1 and use M64/65 P1 to turn it on/off.

We know the output is OK because it works with the old software. I'm trying to prove that there is problem with output control software.

Also what is your MASSO serial number? Confirm the software version you are having problems with.

Hi Aria.

I tried the mo3 to fire the torch nothing tried to fire torch on torch on and off page next to THC on button nothing changed ttl out put nothing OLD software everything works

Raise a fault ticket with support@masso.com.au or use the contact form at the bottom of the Contact Us page

Give a detailed description of what you have tried, so Support can test on their equipment.

Supply serial number & version of software that is causing you problems.

Further to my earlier post include the setting files (Save & Load Settings) from

• the old version that works
  
• the update with "lost" inputs & outputs
  
• the update after you have corrected the inputs & outputs.
  

rename them so they can be easily identified.
