Masso with Gecko G540

I will be using the Masso with the Gecko G540. In the set-up directions it says;



"Your parallel port must be set to EPP mode in BIOS for the parallel port to work correctly with the G540.

If it is not in EPP mode some functions of the G540 will not work."



How do we do this with the Masso?

For MASSO you dont need to worry about those settings as those are issues with a PC only. With MASSO we use industrial signals and it works directly with the drive.

the gecko 540 has step and direction inputs to use with the masso. keep in mind the 540 has a max motor amp rating 3.5 amps so if your motor is more it wont work
