I am trying to learn to use Masso and to have some rudimentary skills in directly managing tasks.
To that end I am trying to learn to use the wizards on the machine.
I set myself the task of cutting an 8mm diameter hole that is 2mm deep into a piece of MDF.
I tried to use the circular pocket wizard, but I was unable to get a result. The hole was >10mm and a number of cuts were made.
So I resorted to drawing the thing in Rhino, exporting the dxf to cut2d and then to generating the tool path and gcode. I got a perfect result. Perfect size and one cut. A very round about way of doing it though.
So where did I go wrong with the wizard?
The wizard produced file is 8mm HOLE.nc, and the vectric produced file is Block.nc
