I am finalising my CNC router build and want the control panel, (keyboard+trackpad ) and monitor to be compact, but still usable

what is the video resolution output of the masso ? 1024 * 768 ?

what is the smallest monitor size that is usable on the masso, I was considering an 8" to 12" monitor size to keep the console of my cnc compact

yes, the resolution is 1024 * 768 and you can use any monitor with higher resolution as the monitor will automatically adjust the resolution.
