Monitor Static

I am getting a weird static on my monitor.
I thought it was something wrong with the power supply so I got it replaced but its still there. I ordered another power supply by a different manufacture just in case, but it wont be in until after the new year.

Has anyone came across this? is this caused by noise in the power?

Thanks.

It sometimes happens with USB extension cables. Try removing the usb extension cable to see if it has an effect.

I've been able to rule out the monitor and cable. It's definitely coming from the power supply. Hopefully the new one from a different manufacturer will not have the issue.

If it does is there any reason I couldn't run the masso of a 12v supply and my driver's off a 24v supply?

I do have other components like LEDs that are 12v so I'll already have a 2nd supply.

@rhummerick

It's actually preferable to run the Masso off of a separate power supply. The Motor Drivers generate allot of electrical noise. I run my Masso on separate 12VDc and my Dirvers on 48VDC. I would try that before buying another power supply.
