Motor Alarm

Hello, I hope someone can help with my Motor Alarm Faults.

I have a Optimum BF46 Milling Machine fitted with Clearpath Servo's run by a Masso HTG5A1S.

The Machine is not calibrated yet as I keep having Motor Alarm Faults. Every time I start the masso everything is fine until I reset the Stop Button. I instantly get a Motor Alarm Fault.

If I go to the Set Up Screen, all alarm Motor Alarm Inputs are High on X,Y and Z axis.

I can still jog all motors in both directions.

I have wired the Clearpath Motors as per Masso Manual.

Please Help.

George.

Hi George

most servo drives have a list for the alarms that have been used. You could look up what the alarm is and that might help, you sort out what's up. Secondly you could disable the alarms and work on getting everything set up properly, after that you could reinstate the alarm circuits so that you have that level of safety when the machine is in operation

( use caution if disabling alarms )

just an idea or two

George,

Go into F1 screen and scroll to each Motor Alarm Input and toggle state by pressing spacebar. They should go Low. That's assuming they are not in alarm condition.

Regards,

Arie.
