Mpg Pendant Question

Hi,

So i have a question regarding the mpg pendant wiring

i am looking at the following mpg pendant (see pictures

)

The question i have is the - db15 pin 1 on masso documentation for wiring says it needs a voltage regulator? i have my masso powered with 12v and the mpg is 5v so how do i go about regulating the voltage? zener diode? do i wire it inside the db15 connector between pin 1 and the wire from the mpg pendant?

Aidan,

As you need to make an adaptor cable from MASSO's DB15 connection to the plug on your pendant, get something like this 7805 +5V 1A Voltage Regulator TO-220 case and stick it in a small jiffy box, run your cable through it and tap in as required.
