Mpg wiring

Hello,

I am wiring up the mpg, looking at your drawing, Does the com wire and the v+ wire both need to be connected to the 5v pin1 on the db connector or does the com go to ground?

It depends on the wiring setup, can you upload some wiring diagrams on how you are wiring?

i am following the diagram from your manual https://www.masso.com.au/?s=mpg, and i noticed that com was connected to pin 1 in the pic of the mpg.

yes if you are wiring exactly like this then COM is connected to Pin-1
