40 years in foundry's yes its a big project i will need help with the electrics this is the old zx45 mil im replaceing

im hoping for minimum for x 400 y230 z400 it what the old one has for my business

If I had a choice I would go for at least 300 in Y but 230 is pretty good since it matches the opening on standard Kurt 6" vise. We always seam to run short in Y direction for some reason.

a word of warning to people buying liner rails from china i got 3 sets( 6 in all) from one supplier one set measured 23.02 wide 2 sets measured 22.87 wide you get what you pay for

@russel Looks like you are well on your way. Most of them are using some sort of scissor system to control the movement.
